The Crown and Wall Rope Doorstop is a working object with serious craft behind it. Each one is formed using a structured Crown and Wall knot, finished with a Matthew Walker topper, and built around a hand-cast weighted core that gives it the heft needed to actually hold a door. It's not decorative-only — it's made to be used every day.
Available in natural manila rope for a warm, traditional finish or braided marine line for a cleaner, more contemporary look. Both are tied by hand in our North Shore studio in small batches, and both carry the same subtle variations in form and fiber that come with anything genuinely made by hand.
At 13.5" tall and 4 lbs it has real presence — substantial enough to do its job, considered enough to leave out.
