Celebrate Marblehead in its earliest name, Massebequash—the original Naumkeag word for the river and shoreline that became this storied harbor town. Each sign is hand-painted, sanded, waxed, and framed by hand in our North Shore workshop, preserving both coastal craft and the meaning of place.

“Massebequash” — meaning “river by the front (ocean)”, the original Native name for Marblehead.
